About
Lime and green apple drive a clean, crisp palate with bright acidity and a refreshing finish. Bone dry — the everyday Clare Valley Riesling pour.
Kaesler picks this Riesling from its own Clare Valley vineyard, where the vines average close to sixty years old. Old vines crop small bunches, and that concentration is what carries the wine.
The 2023 season ran cold and wet through winter and spring, so harvest started about three weeks late. The mild finish to the season let the team pick each parcel at its right moment, and the wine holds its acid without turning severe.
Drink it cold and young with oysters, grilled fish or a simple salad. Clare Riesling of this cut also ages well, so a few bottles left in a dark cupboard will repay the patience.
